Review scope and inquiry

What needs attention

The quote and revised request disagree. Transport and local labor are missing from the budget. The set exceeds the venue’s stated usable width. No order should be treated as reconciled until the named owners resolve these items.

Findings and decisions

01 · Quantity and quote discrepancy · Pending

Reconcile the equipment and rental period.

Quote Q-01 lists 18 fixtures, 48 LED panels and five rental days. Request R-02 lists 22 fixtures, 40 panels (36 active plus four spares) and four days.

Illustrative correction: $12,400 + $300 for fixtures − $800 for panels − $1,200 for one rental day = $10,700. The $1,700 reduction is proposed, not booked. No guarantee that a review will recover its fee.

Owner and next action: Lighting lead confirms 22 fixtures. Production manager obtains the revised vendor quote and verifies rental terms before purchase.

Sources: fictional Q-01 rows 4–6; R-02 lighting and LED sections. Approval: unresolved.

02 · Budget omission · Unpriced

Price transport and local labor.

Budget B-01 has no cost entered for truck transport or local labor. Their absence does not mean they are included. Total production exposure cannot yet be calculated.

Owner and next action: Production manager requests transport and labor scope with written pricing before the budget is committed.

Source: fictional B-01 logistics and labor tabs. Financial effect: unknown, excluded from the $1,700 calculation.

03 · Venue fit conflict · Open

Resolve the four-foot width conflict.

Set plan S-01 specifies a 48 ft footprint. Venue pack V-01 lists 44 ft of usable stage width. The current configuration does not fit the stated width.

Owner and next action: Design lead and production manager confirm usable dimensions with the venue and review a revised configuration. No automatic resizing or engineering approval is implied.

Sources: fictional S-01 plan view; V-01 stage dimensions. Cost and schedule effect: unknown.

Priority action list

  1. Resolve venue dimensions and configuration before confirming the set.
  2. Obtain transport and local labor pricing before committing the total budget.
  3. Confirm fixture count, obtain a corrected vendor quote and retain the written approvals.

Completion means the responsible person supplies evidence and the accepted revision is checked. This sample does not authorize purchasing, construction, rigging or operation.
